He has recently launched Karan’s Bollywood Masterclass (KBM) for students who want quality dance training. Classes cater for males and females of all backgrounds from the ages 3 to 60+. Karan teaches the very best in Bollywood, Semi-Classical, Bhangra and Street dancing.

His extensive knowledge about the entertainment industry enhances his teaching and inspires his students. KBM also offers:

Performance Training: This develops performance skills and technique for those serious about pursuing professional dance
Teacher Training: This practical training will develop your teaching skills
Choreography Generation: Training on how to create your own choreography to a particular song and what makes effective choreography
Model Grooming: How to make an impact on the catwalk

Karan’s lessons are described as ‘educational fun with dance and culture’ and are a highlight of the week. Students learn basic grounding in the classical art form of Kathak and elements of Bharatnatyam. Karan teaches his choreography to the best music of Bollywood encompassing a variety of movements from the various styles he has trained in.

As a teacher Karan pushes his students to get the best results and this may be challenging at first but as time progresses it surely pays off. He believes in teaching quality not just quantity and this has led to some amazing results…

Two of Karan’s younger students Ayesha and Aiyana Tandon won UK’s biggest Indian Dance Competition 2008 – Boogie Woogie. Karan choreographed their piece with a stunning fusion of Kathak and modern Bollywood
Karan successfully trained students from Academy Peckham and Charles Edward Brook for a Bollywood performance as part of Big Dance Month at the Scoop amphitheatre in London Bridge
Karan selected some of his students to perform in his much awaited production ‘Bollywood Nights’ on 31st May 2008
Karan provided a platform for his students to perform at the 'Under One Sky' event at the Kodak Grounds in Harrow. For some of them it was their first time on stage. They attracted a large audience and performed what they had learnt at Karan’s Bollywood Masterclass
